Black Mountain is a small town located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of western North Carolina, approximately 20 miles east of Asheville. It is situated at an elevation of approximately 2,200 feet, offering stunning views of the surrounding mountain ranges and valleys.
Black Mountain is known for its small-town charm and historic downtown area, which features a range of unique shops, restaurants, and galleries. The town is also home to a number of parks and outdoor recreation areas, including Lake Tomahawk and Montreat College's Walking Trail System.
In addition to its outdoor recreational opportunities, Black Mountain is also home to a number of cultural attractions.
